FAQ

What is the difference between sensory seeking and sensory avoiding behaviour?

Sensory Integration Therapy

Sensory seekers crave intense input, they crash into furniture, spin constantly, chew on non-food items, and touch everything. Sensory avoiders withdraw from input, they cover ears at normal sounds, refuse certain food textures, hate tags on clothing, and avoid messy play. Many children show both patterns across different senses.
