Most children show measurable improvement in handwriting and motor tasks within 8 to 12 sessions. A typical treatment course runs 3 to 6 months of weekly sessions. Children with mild DCD may graduate sooner. Those with co-occurring ADHD or learning disabilities often benefit from 6 to 12 months of therapy.
