FAQ

How long does a child with cerebral palsy need occupational therapy?

Cerebral Palsy (OT)

Most children with CP receive OT for years. Intensity varies by GMFCS level. Level I–II children may need weekly OT for 1–2 years then periodic reviews. Level III–V children often need ongoing OT with goals adjusted at preschool, primary school, and secondary school transitions.
